Barretos Rodeo Festival Highlights the Strength of Brazilian Agribusiness

31 de August | 2026

From August 20 to 30, Barretos once again hosted one of Brazil’s largest events connected to rural culture: the 71st Barretos Rodeo Festival.

Beyond rodeo competitions and musical performances, the event reflects the strength of a broader economic chain: Brazilian agribusiness. In 2026, the festival brought together around 3,500 competitors, 120 musical attractions and more than 200 cultural performances, with an estimated economic impact of approximately BRL 600 million in Barretos and the surrounding region.

A Connection That Goes Beyond the Arena
Barretos has a long-standing connection with cattle ranching and rural production. Today, this tradition is part of a much broader ecosystem involving farmers, meat processors, food industries, transportation companies, technology suppliers, retailers and service providers.

This integration demonstrates the scale of Brazilian agribusiness. Production begins in the field and moves through several stages before reaching consumers, generating business, jobs and investment throughout the value chain.

In the animal protein industry, for example, production growth increasingly requires efficiency, standardization, safety and technology. Modern equipment and industrial processes are essential to meet the scale and demands of an ever-changing market.

Barretos as a Symbol of Agribusiness
The Barretos Rodeo Festival represents this connection between tradition and development. While preserving the culture of rural Brazil, the event also drives tourism, commerce, services and business, putting Barretos in the national spotlight.

For Precisão Inox, which develops machinery and equipment for the food processing industry, this reality reinforces the importance of continuous investment in technology and operational efficiency.

Brazilian agribusiness does not end at the farm gate. It continues through industry, technology and logistics before reaching the tables of millions of consumers.

Once again, Barretos has shown Brazil the strength of this connection.
