Magnus PI-250: Precisão Inox Revolutionizes Meat Processing with a New High-Capacity System

24 de July | 2026

Precisão Inox officially unveiled the Magnus PI-250 during Tecnocarne, where it quickly became one of the exhibition’s standout innovations. Designed for meat processing plants, food manufacturers, and large-scale protein processors, the equipment combines high productivity, automation, and operational efficiency in a single integrated system.

Its main differentiator is the integration of a frozen block breaker and a 250 mm industrial meat grinder, eliminating intermediate processing stages, reducing manual raw material handling, and significantly improving production efficiency.

A New Approach to Frozen Meat Processing

Traditionally, processing frozen meat blocks requires separate machines for block breaking and grinding, increasing equipment costs, floor space requirements, and processing time.

The Magnus PI-250 combines these operations into a single continuous process, from the automatic feeding of frozen blocks to the discharge of the final ground meat.

This integrated solution incorporates Precisão Inox’s proven Frozen Block Breaker technology, recognized for its robustness, processing speed, and operational reliability.

The system is engineered to process frozen meat blocks weighing approximately 20 to 30 kg (44 to 66 lb), even at temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F).

Thanks to its heavy-duty mechanical design, each block is fragmented in just 3 to 5 seconds, ensuring a continuous supply of material to the grinding system while eliminating production bottlenecks.

Continuous Processing with Superior Product Quality Preservation

The process begins with a feed conveyor, which automatically transports frozen meat blocks to the block breaker. After fragmentation, the meat pieces are transferred directly into the feeding system of the 250 mm meat grinder, without manual intervention or intermediate equipment.

This integrated configuration significantly reduces the time between the introduction of the frozen block and the production of ground meat, minimizing temperature rise throughout the process. As a result, the raw material retains its natural characteristics, texture, and overall quality while maintaining the integrity of the cold chain.

The main operational benefits include:

  • Continuous processing flow;
  • Reduced raw material handling;
  • Lower labor requirements;
  • Improved operator safety and ergonomics;
  • Greater process consistency;
  • Reduced product losses;
  • Better meat temperature stability.

High Productivity for Large-Scale Operations

Designed to meet the demands of high-capacity processing plants, the Magnus PI-250 delivers a production capacity of up to 6,000 kg (13,200 lb) of frozen ground meat per hour using a 6 mm grinding plate.

The equipment is ideal for processing:

  • Beef;
  • Pork;
  • Poultry;
  • Hamburgers;
  • Sausages and processed meat products;
  • Meatballs;
  • Large-scale processed protein products.

Greater Efficiency with Fewer Machines

By combining two essential processing stages into a single piece of equipment, the Magnus PI-250 delivers significant operational advantages for industrial meat processors.

Its key features include:

  • Integrated frozen block breaker and 250 mm industrial meat grinder;
  • Processing of 20 to 30 kg (44 to 66 lb) frozen blocks;
  • Operation at temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F);
  • Block fragmentation in just 3 to 5 seconds;
  • Continuous automatic feeding system;
  • Production capacity of up to 6,000 kg/h (13,200 lb/h);
  • Reduced production line footprint;
  • Less manual handling of frozen blocks;
  • Increased productivity and operational safety;
  • Fully constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel.
